TT. 1 - Sennedjem was overseer of works and his tomb is just a few paces from where he lived. Opened in 1886 and found to be intact the contents were distributed before everything was properly recorded. Due to the lack of space tombs in the workers village were often reused by the same family over a long period of time, twenty bodies were found in Sennedjem's.
