When we are out in the little villages it never ceases to amaze us how happy the people are but how little they have. Here a young boy with his tin of worms and home made fishing rod attempts to catch a fish.

Marcy brings a whole new definition to “Dog tired”. Absolutely sound asleep whilst we painted the side gate at the front of the villa. |

Charlie, the latest member of our family, likes to walk across the back of the sofa and sit on Graham's shoulder whilst he works on the laptop. Purring away this is Charlie's favourite place and he is quite content to sit there for hours. |

Our very good friends Nasser and Heba (who are expecting their first child in three months) with Pauline at Alim's wedding in Luxor. Here weddings take place in the evening. A very noisy and enjoyable time was had by all. |

Isn't she lovely. Who would think our Tufty was a local Egyptian puppy that we rescued from certain starvation. |

Christmas 2007 and we went for a walk over the Theban Hills. The views are always wonderful and here we see Karnak Temple on the far side of the Nile. It's a great walk and you see something different every time. |
