Tufty is enjoying August on our new terraced area amongst the flowers though just how much the flowers are enjoying Tufty sitting on them we are not sure.

Jan and Pauline checking out our local B&Q. Well not quite but this is an Aladdin's cave of bits and pieces for Animal Welfare Of Luxor.

With Ramadan starting in a few weeks it is a time for various village fairs and at this one the rides were all hand operated. As unsafe as it looks the children were having a really great time.

We had spent the day at El Marise with Sabine and on the way home we decided to go exploring and thought this view across the Nile to the east bank was lovely as the sun sets behind us.

Okay it's a bit small to pull a cart but the family seemed to be enjoying their guinea pig.
