Patrick and Graham took the car to Esna to see the temple there. They had a really good time and were the only people there which is always the best way to see a temple. |

The office continues to be worked on. The doors were put on last month and completely messed up by the tiling man and since then the painter has messed up the tiles. It's Egypt! |

Who says summer is here - I'm chilled. Garfield snuck into our bedroom and made herself at home. We didn't have the heart to move her as she was dead to the world. |

From the roof of our villa you can clearly see just how high the Nile is this year. It has flooded the fields on the far bank. A far cry from just how low it is in winter. Merson's trees are coming along well. |

Marcy takes a break from sleeping and attempts some basic guarding duties but fails due to a total lack of interest. He is such a big softie. |

Alim, Pauline and Kay on our land by the Nile. The children were enjoying a game of football as the sunset but soon became more interested in having their photos taken. Everybody is so kind and helpful. |
