Tufty and Marcy sit on our living room carpet. They are both quite lovely and don't they look good for local dogs. |

Still our favourite tomb, that of Roy, in the Theban hills. We take any excuse to visit it. Quite small but the colours are lovely. Click Here to see more of this tomb. |

The dig at the temple of Amenhotep III has started again and a much larger wooden frame has now been erected to place more of the statue that was uncovered last year back into its original place. Click Here to see what it looked like in March 2007. |

Excavations are well under way at the Roman fort on the top of the Theban hills. We enjoy the walk around this part of the hills and it is amazing just what is coming to life up there. |
