This picture will hopefully give you a good idea of just how large these bas reliefs are. In order to preserve them they are protected by glass panels held in place by an aluminium frame.

Here we see Ramses III, on the right, wearing the red crown of lower Egypt with, I believe the male god Shu (because of the chin beard) who is the Holder of the Sky, God of the Air, Wind, Sunlight and Protection.

Shu wears an ostrich feather in his headdress as does the female god Maat which is used in the weighing of the heart ceremony. In most cases males are depicted with the black chin beard but there are a few exceptions. On the very right you can just see the hands of Khaemwaset which you can see in the next picture.
