The centre of Luxor looks quite smart and much less like the building sight it has for the last couple of years. Station Street, the old market, tourist bazaar and the area behind Luxor Temple are virtually completed which is good news for all. Luxor West Bank, where the vast majority of ancient monuments are, remains unchanged to the eyes of a tourist though regular visitors will notice that many of the homes on the Theban Hills have now been demolished.
