There is a desperate need to
educate the children of Luxor in the proper care of their animals
and the animals owned by their family. Animal Welfare of Luxor is
a small Voluntary Organisation that charges nothing for its services
and whose aim is to break the circle of ignorance so it is the children
we must educate because the children are the future. Much has been
done for animal care within the tourist areas of Luxor but there
is much more to Egypt and just a short distance from Luxor nothing
has changed. With your help AWOL can make animal care change  for
the better of all.
A need for animal care has been seen and land
located in the farming community of El Marise, on the west bank
of Luxor for a small centre where we can make the lives of amongst
others, dogs, horses and the extremely hard working donkeys so much
better through our voluntary work of preventative medical care and
education. Currently we are doing what we can in the villages but
we now urgently need a centre to work from so that we can help many
more animals.
These are early days and Animal Welfare Of Luxor
is looking for like minded people to join us, raise awareness and
of course funds to help the community here in Luxor and especially
the children grow with a better understanding for the animals that
work so hard for them.
